He was being held on the charge of dealing out arms and ammunition to the negroes of that suburb, but shortly after hIs arrest the county police searched his premises and found nothing which would warrant this charge .being formally registered against him. Miss Eva Bums, of Cornelia, Ga„ was the suc cessful contestant, and carried off the medal. In the afternoon LeRoy Suddeth, of Cornelia High School, won the medal In the oratorical contest.
