Price, the negro postmaster at Brownsville,, has been staying at the Jail of his own volition. He was'being held on the charge of dealing out arms and ammunition to. the negroes of that suburb, but shortly after.his arrest the county police searched his premises and found nothing which would wnrrant this charge being formally registered against him.
