Emory McAfee, one of the sons, will
be tried Thursday afternoon for drunk
enness.
On learning that casee had been
made again against the father and one
of hts sons. Judge Broyles said:

union of the McAfees."
It was stated that the father had lain
all night In the rain In the rear of a
Decatur street saloon.

Union. It la estimated that the cotton

cqnt. Very little damage was done to
the crop* In this section by the recent
heavy frosts, all of the cotton being
practically opened. The cool weather
and accompanying frosts will not pre
vent this maturing and opening. There
la very little "lop crop" this season. •
