One of the very prettiest wedding* ever solemnised In Toccoa was that which occurred on Wednesday, No vember 24, at G o’clock, when Miss Jessie Iota Martin, of Toccoa, and Mr. Irving H. Hollemnn, of Alabama, were married at tlio beautiful home of -the bride'* mother, Mrs. John Martin. It was an event of Boctal Interest to a large circle of friends. The apoclous and lovely house was very tastefully decorated with luxur ious palm*, ferns anil fragrant cut flower*. It was a tableau wedding. 4Vhen the folding doors between the parlor and living room were thrown open the bride and groom were revealed standing before an improvised altar of stately palms nnd fern*, surrounded by their attendants. Dr. L A. Simpson, pastor of the PrCsbytorlan church, read the marriage ceremony, while Mrs. J, R. McLaughen played softly “Hearts and Flowers." The flower girls were little Misses Marjorie Dance and Irene Hollis, of Atlanta, pretty little maids In dainty white dresses, with white rib bons In their lialr, and carrying arm fuls of chrysanthemum*.
