A reorganization of the Methodist
Ministers' Association, which called for
the re-election of old officers, nnd the
welcoming of lieu ministers which were
sent to the Atlanta district by the Inst
conference, were the matters of most
Importance at the meeting of Meth

was elected treasurer, un office just
created.
•\ H. Christian, W. II. LaPrade, Jr.,

forth resolutions of condolence and;
sympathy. A Moral offering waa sent i
by the ministers.
Rev. French, the new pastor of the
First Methodist church, was present nt
the meeting. After the resolutions
were unanimously adopted he made aj
pleasant speech, thanking the Atlanta
ministers for the evidences of hospital- |
tty and welcome. Chairman Christian,
of the steering committee, announced j
I that the topic for next Monday would
! be. "How to Increase Interest In the
J Sunday Evening Meetings."
| Revs. c. C. Jarrell and A. M. Pierce
made a.thorough discourse on the topic
j of discussion Monday morning, "How
to Make Die Preachers* Meetings More
Interesting and Helpful." Several sug
gestions were made that were consid
ered timely and may be adopted at
j subsequent meetings.
Our claim tliat we are offering the best woman’s tailored
suit to be had in Atlanta for fifteen dollars is easy of proof. You
can investigate for yourself; simply look at other stores’ suits
and compare them with ours; we believe you won’t find the
eqalu of this suit elsewhere for less than twenty-five dollars.
Another shipment of 200 came in Saturday. We’ve al
ready sold 800 this season. Pretty strong evidence of the at
tractiveness of the offering, is it not?
' Remember—these are not old suits or “off” styles or
“marked down”; but are brand new and fresh from a leading
New York maker’s hands; made in the most approved styles of
the season to our special order and not duplicated by other
stores.
Better come early tomorrow if you want one, for they’ll sell)
very rapidly.

OF POLICE BOARD
The meeting of the board of police
commissioners, scheduled for Tuesday
night, has been postponed until Thurs
day night. This was done because
certain of the commissioners an

present Tuesday night.
The controversy between Miss San

has made his report of the affair, as
directed by Chief Jennings, but Miss
