outside the city, except to see that the
places where the animals are killed ar<
reasonably sanitary and that good cat
tie and hogs are killed for sale.
"Numbers of unhealthy hogs, under
the present law, may be killed at the
slaughter houses In the city or by farm
ers without our being able to find It
out," said Dr. Kennedy. "But under
the new law we will have only three
or four places specially designated,
where slaughtering can lake place for
sale of meat In Atlanta. There are
three places which are almost sure to
be located as slaughter houses—the
Union Stock Yanis, Carl Wolfshelmer
and Shoen Brother*.

swivel combination that made a secon
dary clevis. He had Just perfected a
combination single stock and turning

deavoring to organize a company
