Mrs. Pauline Gray, of Atlanta, who
haa many relative* and friends In the
city, ts now* delightfully situated In
Parts at the Elysee Palace hotel.
Mra. Gray has a very decided and un
usual talent for designing and sketch
ing the pretty toilets that charm the
average woman, and which are seen In
such perfection at the French capital.
Mrs. Gray writes very Interestingly of
her sojourn In Paris. In a letter re
vived from her recently sh* says: *

The empire coat Is three-quarter

empire. It Is msde to hang from the
top of a belt of about three or three and

of Mrs. Haralson Bleckley, of Atlanta,

In a private dining room overlooking

arranged In the must tasteful and
beautiful way with yellow Jonquils,

ing used as the central decoration,

Receiving with Mr. and Mrs. Dargan
and Mrs. Wilson was Mrs. John Rom
mel, of Philadelphia. In the drawing
room where the receiving party stood,
the decorations were pink nxuleus and
pink roses. In the hallway and library
the same flowers were used with ar
tistic effect. In the dining room the
decorations were In yellow, the center-
piece being a sliver loving cup tilled
with Jonquils. The candle shades and
bonbons were In yellow also.
Music and bridge were enjoyed and
llie. occasion was one of the delightful
event* of the week.

prlncesse gown of cream lace, mado
over taffeta.
