an elegant luncheon Thuraday at her
home on Peachtree street In honor of
Mrs. Claude Badgely, of New York,
the guest of Mrs. John D. Little.

riage of Miss Mary Horton, daughter
of Dr. J. J. Horton, of West- Clinton
afreet, and W. W. Rodgers, of New
.'Market, Ala., took place here Inst
night. The young couple will go to
Louisiana to enjoy their honeymoon,
and on their return will go to New
Market to live.

The excutlve board of the Georgia
Federation of Women's Clubs has
called a meeting of club presidents In
Atlanta on Tuesday morning, February
12.
By courtesy of the Atlanta Woman's
Club, the conference will be held In
their club rooms.
Each Federation club In Georgia la
urged to send Its president or a rep
resentative.
February 22 has been appointed by
the board aa library day. It Is agreed
that on that day every club woman In
the state send one or more books of
good simple literature to the president
of her club, who will ship them to Mrs.

mittee. She will classify them and ship
them to the rural achools, where they
are most needed.
