Grn. “Thomas” Thumb —The celebrated
General Tom Thumb, with his equally distin
guished little wile, accompanied by Commodore
Nutt and Miss Warren, both of whom, though
exceedingly small, are not too little to be well
known, will visit us soon. Tuey have recently
visited quite a number ol our Northern cities,
and have given much pleasure to all who have
seen them. We clip the following notice of one
of their entertainments from an exchange :
''General Tom Thumb and Commodore Nutt.—
These celebrated gentlemen, accompanied by
the amiable little wife of the former, and her
sister, Miss Minnie Warren, made their first ap
pearance in the Music Hall yesterday afternoon,
aud were received in the most enthusiastic man
ner by a very large audience. To form a proper
idea ot these little people they must be visited,
for they certainly are a world’s wonder - Com
modore Nutt being a host in himself. The ex
hibition was very amusing and successful. The
little people petormed again last evening to a
crowded house.”
