TO THE SUPERIOR COURT.
K NOW all men by these presents. That we, Robert
Logan, of Troup county, Ga., J. P. Logan, P. P.
Peas, McCamy Jfc Co., and E. 'E. Raweon, of Atlanta, in
said comity aitd State, being desirous of associating our
selves together as a body corporate, under the name and
style of the “Fulton Petroleum & Mining Company,”
for the purpose of boring for petroleum or coal oil, and
mining for minerals, preparing the same for market and
vending the same at points and places most conducive
to the interests of all concerned, do herein and hereby
declare and apply—
I. That your applicants be associated and incorporated
together under the corporate name and style of the "Ful
ton Petroleum and Milling Company," with all the pow
ers. privileges, rights and immunities by the code and
laws of the State of Georgia in such cases made and pro
vided.
II. That the objects of this corporation or association
will be the boring for petrolenm or coal oil, and mining
for minerals in the States of Georgia, Alabama and Ten
nessee, and elsewhere, as the geological features of the
country may iudicate ns most conducive to success ; the
preparation of said petroleum or coal oil and minerals,
when found, for market, and the vending of the same in
suitable markets.
III. That the period for which these applicants desire
the benefit of incorporation in the manuer and for the
purpose within specified, is twenty years.
IV. That the capital stock of this Company shall con
sist ol four thousand shares, with the privilege of in
creasing the same to ten thousand shares, of the par
value or fifty dollars per share ; that the same Is, and
shall be represented by actual property, by leases upon
petroleum and mineral lands iu the States of Georgia,
Alabama, Tennessee and elsewhere, situate and being
known aud designated as per lease held and to he ob
tained by said Company.
V. The capital actually paid in shall be not less than
twenty thousand dollars, before commencement of opera
tions, which said sum shall be raised by the sale or trans
fer of the stock over and above that taken by the under
signed ; and should it become necessary to increase said
sum, future assessments of stock shall only be made by
s majority vote of the shares held by the stockholders.
VI. That full power and authority be granted to these
applicants for valuable consideration, to sell and assign
to any third party or parties, shares of stock or certifi
cates of interest in the said Company.
VII. That the said applicants sh.ll have power at any
time to meet and elect a President, General Superinten
dent, Secretary, Treasurer, and such other officers and
agents as they may deem necessary to the organization
and successful working of said Company ; and that any
vacancy occurring thereafter in any such offices and agen
cies, shall be filled according to the by-laws and rules
which may be adopted.
VIII. That, the place of general business and the loca
tion of the said Incorporation shall be at Atlanta, Fulton
county, iu the State of Georgia.

of Atlanta, Fulton connty, Ga., within the legal
hours of sale, on the first Tuesday in September next,
one city lot in said city, known as lot No. 2 of block No.
31, ol original land lot No. 77, fronting on Forsyth street
and running back to the original laud line between land
lots 77 and 84, and containing one and a half acres, more
or less. Sold as the property of James H. Neal, deceas
ed, under an order of the Conrt of Ordinary of said
county. The property would be sold at private sale, in
half acre lots or more, and titles perfected. Daniel Pittman-
