\ Some people have a very different

I say that tin* daily train arrived on

Well, a very similar statement appear

Whin u fellow cusses in the pres

Goodyera Truck
Tires Popular
"More and more truck
learning of the Goodyear leadership
in truck tire manufacturing and mer
chandising and, as a result more
trucks are now equipped with Good
years than ever before,” declared Mr.
Davis, of Langford Motor Cos., who
sells and services the Goodyear truck
tire line at his service station located

-An increasing number of truck own
ers—including Hie man who owns but
one truck—to the large fleet operator,
are coming to realize that tiie present
Goodyear truck tire lias reached its
present point of leadership through
scientific effort—and not by accident.
“Goodyear engineers years ago be
gan studying ways to improve truck
tires and from their research work
were able to develop many improve
ments. The results of their constant
study and testing are at hand today in
tires so vastly improved that only
those familiar with motor truck opera

.tlon realize the progress that has been
made in Goodyear truck tires.
••The Goodyear contribution than to
ward modern motorized truck trans
portation is that which approaches
perfection in truck tires.
“Improvements include new am
improved tread designs providing
greater tractive power; stronger and
tougher tread compounds, insuring the
longest period of 100 per cent traction
and anew maximum of useful life in
the tire; extra durable body stock and
body construction, furnishing the ut
most of cushioning and setting up spe
cial resistance to ordinary tire cdls.
"Many Others could lie mentioned,
then, too there is the fact, first real
ized by Goodyear and Goodyear deal
ers, that conditions of truck operation
vary and that different kinds of tires
are needed for different trucking jobs.
“We will be glad to explain the sci
ence of truck tire selection and adap
tion to truck operators.”
