Grand opera. Aida Tuesday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. W'. 1.. King entertain
ed with a dinner Tuesday in honor
of her sister, Mrs. Ernest Amnions,
of Asheville, X. (’. Those present and
enjoying the hospitality of Mr. and
Mrs. King wire Mrs Minnie Almaiid,
Mrs. .(no Allen, Mr. and Mrs. It. 11.
King and son, Horace, and Mr. J.
Tom Tucker. Mrs. Ammons and baby
are on an extended visit at this home
and with other relatives and friends
throughout Rockdale county.
Mr. and Mrs. H. Glenn Parham and
little son, Harry, are spending this
weeek in Athens. Mrs. Parham and
baby with lur parents, Mr. and Mrs.
J. O. Ingram, and Mr. Parham in the
Athens district headquarters of the
Georgia Power company.
Mrs. Eugene Kemp, of Decatur,
spent the week-end in Conyers with
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Henry
Tucker.
Mrs. M C. Walton, of Helena, Ga .
spent the past week or ten days in
Conyers, guest of her sister. Mrs. H.
I). Whatley, who continues confined
to her bed on Milsttad avenue.
Mrs. P. J. Brown spent one day this
week visiting old friends hack up in
Gwinett county, accompanying the doc
tor who still has a large practice
throughout that section.

Mrs. ,J. M. Towns spent another
very pleasant day in Atlanta Tuesday,
having Dr. J. Ross Tucker work on
her teeth. Every time she hears a bug
y.oone she ail hut screams —thinking
of tlie dentist. Women are funny that
way.
