BY-LAWS

Association of Rockdale County.
ARTICLE 2—CX>M M U NIC ATI ON S.
Meeting shall he held approximately
, ry four months, at the call of the
■resident, or as often as the Associa
te, i assembled, shall direct. As nearly
practicable, each, meeting will be
with a different Lodge in this County
-by invitation (in rotation) —and on
tin* regular meeting night of the Lodge
extending the invitation, the Lodge
entertaining the members of the As
i,unation at supper. The hour of the
],• will be approximately one
hoar before the regular hour of open
iug the Lodge, and after the meeting
of the Association, the members will
visit the Lodge in a body. Representa
tion from two of Lodges consti
tute a quorum. The object of the meet
ing shall lie to promote a better under
standing between the various Lodges
and the members thereof, and in the
interest of Freemasonry in general.
ARTICLE 3—MEMBERSHIP. The
membership shall be composed of all
Past Masters, the present Master,
Wardens and Secretary of each (Blue
Lodge, and corresponding officers of
the York and Scottish Rite bodies,
and the Master, Wardens and Secre
tary of each Lodge, when elected to
such office, shall automatically be
come members of this Association.
ARTICLE 4 ASSESSMENTS.
Realizing th,at the Secretary will be
put to. incidental expenses for stamps,
stationery, and other incidentals, the
Lodges represented in the Association
shall be assessed three dollars per an
num, and, in the event of an emer
gency, additional assessments as au
thorized by the membership, such as
sessments to he paid immediately af
ter the regular communication of the
member lodge or upon receipt of a
Bill from the Secretary of this Associa
tion.
ARTICLE S—OFFICERS.5 —OFFICERS. The offi
cers of this Association shall consist
of a President, First and Second Vice
President, and a Secretary-Treasurer,

Mrs. John Cunningham
in Recital Tuesday
Mrs. John Cuntiiughmu, music and
expression teacher in the Conyers
schools, participated in Hu* recital giv
en by Miss Lula Clark King in Ampico
Hall Tuesday evening as accompan
ist. Mrs. Cunningham is an accom
plished instrumental and voice soloist
and accompanist par excellence. She
expects lo enter the National At
water Kent Radio contest this fall in
their selection of nil all Amjericaln
voice to whom they will award five
thousand dollars and a chance in
Grand Opera.
Conyers is indeed proud of her tal
ented young people and will lie pulling
for Mrs. Cunningham in her laudable
endeavor over the radio this fall.
Dr. O. J. Baggarly, Optometrist of
Atlanta, will lie in Conyers Friday,
June 14th at C 1?. Irwin's. If you
are in doubt about your eyes call and
see him. He will make a careful ex
amination and fit you with t lie proper

ARTICLE (1 —ANNUAL MEETING.
This Association, in addition to its
other Masonic activities, will sponsor
an annual meeting to lie held at some
Stated place, where all of the mem
bers of the member Lodges will be in
vited to attend, a basket or picnic din
ner to lie enjoyed, and the wives and
families of the Master Masons of this
county to lie invited to an open meet
ing. It ]f
ARTICLE 7—AMENDMENTS. Any
portion of these By-Laws may be an
nulled, amended or substituted, but
all amendments shall lie proposed in
writing and lay over until the next
regular meeting before action is tak
en. A majority vote of those present
shall lie essential to any change.
