Mr. Wallace says lie has about a bushel of meal and they will likely stay as long as it lasts. Dr. Dr. and Mrs. R. 8. Carter and children are in Wadley, Ala., taking their annual vacation with Rev. and Mrs. W. C. Carter. Mrs. Carl Granade is on an extend ed visit with relatives and friends in Waynesboro. Mrs. W. K. Downs returned to her home in Conyers over the week-end from Florida, where she sikmi! the winter with Mr. and Mrs. Claud Downs at Clewistou. Claud is happy in the Bank of Clewistou and Lucile is having a great time running one of Florida’s popular hotels. Miss Doris Walker, of Douglasviile, and Messrs. A. G. and Eli Walker, of Atlanta, spent last week-end at Walk er-Pottsville with their parents, Air. and Mrs. A. F. Walker. Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Patrick and grandchildren, Florence and Mary Bell, are spending this week at Roan oke, Ala., guests of Mr. and Mrs. Blake Wood. Mrs. T. H. Barksdale and children went to Tate. Ga.. last week with Mr. and Mrs. Gus Guinn for an extended visit. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Cannon, of Cov ington. spent last Sunday in Conyers, guests of Dr. and Mrs. C. R- Cannon. Miss Martha Ramsey, of Covington, one of our popular and efficient school teachers, spent last Wednesday and Thursday in Conyers, guests of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Lee. Mr. J. Tom Tucker left Sunday for Florida, where he will visit relatives and friends for a week or ten days. Miss Mildred Plunkett has if turned from Asheville, N. C., greatly restored in health and happy to he hack in Conyers with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Plunkett and her many Conyers friends. Conyers is very hap* py to have this beautiful and talented young lady back home and in its life. Mrs. Jno. T. A. McCollum and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lloyd spent' the week-end in Atlanta, guests of Lieut Col. and Mrs. Arthur McCollum. THE ROCKDALE RECORD. CONYERS. GEORGIA Presbyterians Install Their New Pastor Sunday in the Presbyterian church there-will he an installation service of the new pastor. Rev. Hurry K. Ifol land. A commission from the Atlanta Presbytery, consisting of several prom inent ministers and several ciders, will have charge of the service. This commission installed the pastor in the church at Smyrna on last Sunday afternoon, and with the installation services on next Sunday evening, the new pastor will officially take charge of the pastorate in its entirety. The installation service will take place at the regular hour of the evening serv ice. 8:15 p. in. The pastor will preach at the morning service.
