Arrtngements were made at
the meeting to except the prop¬
osition of Hilmaib & Co. of
lanta to buy the school bonds.
Work on the new school house
is planned to begin as soon as

and it is hoped have the

week from 3,to 5 o'clock at their
home in, St. Elmo, honoring friends
who formerly resided in Trenton,
but who are now making their
home in CliaTapcoga.
The entire lower floor, of the
home was thrown cj^n for the oc*
casion and was beautifully decora¬
ted, baskets of white narcissi and
ferns predominating. A gaily de¬
corated t hrstmasr-, tree added a
final note to the ( ;Christmas spirit.'
During the, afternoon an informal-
musical program was rendered by
