A WISE RECOMMENDATION
The Grand Jury at its last session
made recommendations before Judge
James B. Park, urging every citizen
to post themselves on the registra
tion law and to qualify and keep
themselves ready to vote at all times.
This is indeed sound advice. Too
many neglect the right of franchise
and fail to voice opinions at the polls.
This is a sacred duty and ivery citi
zen should k sure that they keep
cannot be put on this all important
The jury also cited certain sections
of the code in reference to the Grand
Jury's jurisdiction over the polls and
the ballots. These recommendations
have come in an efort on the part
of this body to avoid all future con
tests nnd friction from elections.
The Baldwin Democratic Execu
tive Committee have -ignified their
intention to follow the strict letter
of the law in carrying out the com
ing election. They have said that
the Australian ballot should b e used.
This new system of voting has proven
satisfactory and it is wise that this
system has been adopted.
All managers, clerks and people
handling the primaries should be
chosen with care and this should be

I hereby certify that Jos H. Drewry & Company, have made a compk*
