The petition of Oconee Brick &
Tile Company respectfully represents
to the Court the fulowing facts:
Par. 1. That your petitioner was
duly incorporated for a period of
twenty years under a charter grant
ed by this Court o n‘.he 20th day of
July, 1908.
Par. 2. That said charter waa
duly accepted and petitioner has
been operating its business under
the same since the date said charter
was granted.
Par. 3. Petitioner says that there
have been no amendments to said
charter.
Par. 4 Petitioner desires a re

1928, and that said corporation have
all the rights, powers, privileges and
immunities by virtue of said renewal,
as are conferred upon it by said
original charter, together with the
right to renew said charter after the
expiration of the renewal
for, and that in addition to the
rights, powers, and privileges con
ferred upon said corporation by its
original charter, that it have the right
to either lease or mortgage, or to

December, 1927, the following pre
amble and resolution was unanimous
ly adopted, all the stockholders of
said corporation voting i n person or
by proxy:
“Whereas, the original charter of
Oconee Brick & Tile Company will
expire, by limitation, on July 20th,
1928; and
Whereas, th eCompany desires a
renewal of its charter for a period of
twenty years from the 20th day of
July, 1928; and
Whereas, the Company desires an
amendment to the charter changing
the name of the corporation from
“Oconee Brick & Tile Company” to
“Oconee Clay Products Company”
and a further amendments to its said
charter to authorize the corporation
to either lease or mortgage, or to
lense and mortgage, its property, real
and personal, an dits franchises, and
to execute conveyances appropriate
to such purposes:

Par. 5. The capital stock of said
corporation shall be Fifteen Thous
and (15,090.00) Dollars, with the
privilege of increasing the same to
the sum of Thirty Thousand ($30,-
