dress to the graduates of the school
at Deepstep, and on the 28th, he has
an engagement at Wadley.
Dr. Wynn is an eloquent and schol
arly speaker, and one of the leading
educators in Georgia.

The legal heirs of Samuel Hanks,
deceased, having filed their written
request with the court of Ordinary to
appoint H. B. Bloodworth perman
ent administrator upon the estate of
Samuel Hanks. This is therefore to
notify all persons concerned that said
application will be heard on the first
Monday in June, 1928, and if no
valid objections are filed there to
letters will be granted as prayed for

The petition of Fowler-Flcmister
Coal Company, a corporation of said
State and county, respectfully shows.
1.
That on June the 15th, 1908, at
the special June term of the Superior
Court of Baldwin county, a charter
way issued to it at and for the
of twenty (20) years, as appea

in the clerk’s office of said county;
and that said charter will expire on
June the 15th, 1928 next, reference
is made to said record as may he
necessary in the premises.

That on January the 8, 1912. at the
regular January term of yaid court
an amendment to said charter was au
thorized as will appear of record in
Charter Book No. 1 pages 73 and
74 of the clerk’s office of said court,
to which reference is made as may
be necessary.
3.
That at a call meeting of the
stockholders of said corporation held
in accordance with the charter and
by-laws of said corporation on Aprli
the 25th, 1928, in the city of Mil-
ledgeville, a resolution was unanim
ously adopted directing that the
charter lie renewed as authorized and
provided by Jaw, a certified abstract
from the minutes of the corporation
is hereto attached and made a part
hereof and marked EXHIBIT A.

A RESOLUTION
At a call meeting of the stockhold
ers of the Fowler-FIemtstcr Coal
Company, held ir. accordance with
the charter and the by-laws of said
corporation, at the usunl and regular
place of meeting, the office of the
Merchants & Farmers Bank, in the
City of Milledgcville. at 8 P. M.,
o’clock on the 25th, day of April,
1928, the following resolution was
unanimously adopted, a majority of
wtock being represented in person.
Inasmuch as the original rhnrter of
the Fowlcr-Flemister Coal Company
will expire, by limitation on June
15th, 1928, said charter having been
granted on June the 15th, 1908, by
the Superior Court of said County
as appears of record in Minute Book
J page 455-7, clerk's office of Bald'
win Superior Court; and, inasmuch
as, said chnrter was amended by said
court on January 8th, 1912. a«
pears of record in Record Book No.
1, page 73, in said Clerk's office:
Therefore, be it resolved that an
application be made to the Superioi
Court of Baldwin County Georgia,
or to the Judge thereof at Chambers
ns may be by law permitted and nl-
lo>ved, for a renewal of said charter
and renewal of the powers contained
in the said amendment thereto both
as set ou: in the original act of in-
corporation, and of said amendment.
And it be further resolved that to
this end and for this purpose the
president of this corporation be and
he is hereby authorized and empower
ed to take such steps as may he
necessary to secure the renewal of
said charter and said amendment fo:
the term of twenty yenr* as by law
allowed and provided.

Co., and I hereby certify that the
foregoing is a true and correct copy
of the preamble and resolution
adopted by the stockholders of the
Fowler-Flemister Coal Company at
the above stated ineetnig.
