DIOCESAN COUNCIL IN ATLANTA

Rev. P. K. Harding left Tuesday
morning to attend the twenty-third
annual council of the Diocese which
met in AD Saints Church. Atlanta,
on Wednesday, January 22, and
Thursday. January 23. under the
leadership of the Right Rev. H. J.
MUcell, D.D, LL.D., Bishop.
The Womans Auxiliary and the
Daughters of the Kin;: held their
meetings in All Saints Church at the
same time. Among Jie speakers
who addressed the 'Auxiliary meet
ing was the universally known Dr.
Kerry Montague who acquired much
of hia experience in social work dur-
ing his fifteen yeras in Richmond as
city raissior.iry.
Dr. Dempsey will preach at the
MiliedgcriOa Methodist church Sun
day morning at 11:00 o'clock, and
the Confarence will be held at an
hour to be announced later. Dr.
Dempaof hat served as pastor of the
M.lledgovilla church, and this is his
last year aa Presiding Elder of the
Oxford District.
Dr. Dempsey will preach at the
Midway church Sunday evening at
7:00 o'clock and it is expected that
the conference will be held imme
diately after the services. If there
should be any change of the hour it
will be announce*! later.

points for the final score.
Papree, forward, and Batchelor,
guard, co-starred. Crpckett was a
creditable substitute for Robcrvon
shooting 12 points.
Ray, center for the Aggies, Ken
an and Stanton did the outstanding
work for the visitors.
Substitutes were plentiful, going
in and out frequently, in order to
find the best combination.
