DEATH OF MRS. EMMA HER-
RIGDINE
Mrs. Emma Corinne Herringdine,
mother of Mr. O. C. Herringdine,
of Hardwick, died at her home in
Hancock, counity Sunday, after a
short illness.
The funeral and burial services
was held at Reynold Chapel Tues
day afternoon.
Mrs. Herringdirw had reached the
ripe old ago of eighty-nine years.
She is survived by her son and two
daughters, Mbscs Emma and Lula
Herringdine.
DEATH OF MR. CLYDE STUBBS
Mr. Clyde Stubbs, aged 45. died at
; a local hospital Saturday, after a
long illness.
The funeral sendees were held;
i Sunday afternoon at the home of Mr
| and Mrs. Leo StuLbs, in Wilkinson
county, and the interment was in
I the family burial ground.
Mr. Stubbs was the oldest son of
the late Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Stubbs,
of Wilkins-on county. He is survived
by three brothers: Leo Stubbs, of
Wilkinson county; Comer Stubbs, of
Milledgeville, and Hubic Stubbs, of
Macon, and one sister, Mrs. C. P.
Batson of Wilkinson county.

Wednesday night, after long illness.
The funeral sendees were held at
J. A. Moore’s Funeral Home Friday
afternoon at three o'clock, ReV. T.
L. Rutland officiating. The inter
ment was in the family square in
the city cemetery, the pall-bearers
bieng Messrs. Steve Wright, C. T.
Harper, W. K. McCrca, John Hollo
way, Frank Shealey and Dr. J. I.
Garrard.
Mrs. Wilson was a daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. W. I. Harper and
was born and grew to womanhood
near Meriwether in Baldwin county.
Early after her marriage to Mr.
Herty Wilson, she went Jo Jack
sonville. Fla., to live, and returned
here only a short time since.
She is. survived by four sons and
several sisters and brothers.

Funeral was held Saturday 15th at
