Baldwin county November 9th and
10th. Dr. LaPrade is rounding out
his fourth year as a Presiding Elder
and under the laws of his church
will be appointee to a pastorate
when the North Georgia Conference
convenes in Atlanta November 21st
Dr. LaPrade while here will
Preac' and hold the fourth quarter-
inferences of the Milledgeville
Methodist church; the Milledgeville
Circuit and the Midway charge.
The conference of the Milledge
ville Circuit will be held Saturday.
November the 9th, at Union H1U
church in the South-western part of
the county. In the morning Dr. La
Prade will conduct the services and
preach, and at the midday hour din-
will be served. In the afternoon
the coherence will be held. Rev.
R. E. Shea is ending his second year
; pastor of the Circuit.
The Presiding Elder will preach
at the Milledgeville Methodic 4 ,
church Sunday morning. November
10th. and hold the conference in the
afternoon. Rev. Horace Smith is
rving the church second year
s pastor.
The Conference will bo held at
the Midway Methodist church Sun
day night, after Dr. LaPrade has de
livered his sermon. Rev. W. C. Budd
is ending his first year as pastor.
These conferences are the most
important of the year, as the year’s
work will be closed out as near as
possible, and officers to serve the
churches for a new year will be
named. The pastors are anxious for
full attendance of all of the offici-

BE HELD NEXT WEEK AT
METHODIST CHURCH.
The annual week of prayer will be
observed at the Methodist church by
the Methodist Woman’s Missionary
Society next week beginning Mon
day. On Monday afternoon the gen
eral meeting will be held at 4 o’clock.
On Tuesday afternoon the Young
Woman’s Circle will have charge of
the program. The meetnig will be
gin at 4 o’clock. The all day retreat
will be held on Wednesday begin
ning at 11 o’clock. Mrs. T. J. Stew
art of Macon, district secretary of
the Macon district, will have charge
of the program for the day.
