IMG Models.
The 1936 Chryslers have been re
ceived by W. E. Robinson, «Ir., of
MUledgeville. and the public is cor
dially a . ted to inspect them at that
dealer’s show room.
Four entirely new and finer mod
els comprise the new Chrysler line.
More than a score of new features
have been introduced in these cars
with the result that they represent
Chrysler's highest attainments in
performance, safety, economy, com
fort. luxury and beauty. Passenger
space in the two lower-priced cars
in the line has been increased also.
Among the new features that con
tribute towards making these 1936
Chryslers the highest values ever
offered to the public by this company
are the following:
Chrysler automatic overdrive
length slightly longer. Yet
of the touring sedan
bodies have been increased four
inches in elbow room.- while the
height from 'floor to ceiling and th"
head room remain unchanged. A
new footrest is skillfully recessed in
to the back of the front seat.
In the driver’s compartment, a full
width cushion, with divided full seat
back, either section of which tilts
forward repplaces the bucket scats
cf the two-door sedan or tourning
brougham. A new arrangement of
the large, easily read dials of the
speedometer and other instruments
adds to the attractive appearance of
the panel. Windshields ore of the
V-lype. and sedan rear windows arc
iddcd guests or braces, contributing
their bit to the increased rigidness
of the whole body. A new double
dovetail design, in combination with
the door lock, reduces likelihood or
any play that might lead in time tr
squeaks and ruttles, and insur<
more effective bracing of the body
structure by the doors.
