of the Students, that the conflagration of tlio now
building, however setious, will not interlore in the
smallest decree with the regular duties ol tho
College. The course of instruction will not ho
affected, as every accommodation will be ready
for the students by the first of January. The
Library it is true lias been destroyed, but we feel
couiidcnt from the munificence of the Logulature
that the loss will bo so far repaired by the opening
of the next term, as to prevent any injury artsing
trom its destruction. The Matheniatiea. instru

uninjured, and consequently lull instruction m t.ie
higher classes can ho given.
As to the personal accommodation of the young
men. no difficulty will exist, as the old building
hitherto devoted to the residence oi the two low

tain all who now compose those clases, oi who
mav come bv the commencement of the next

dated with lodging and study rooms in private
families or the boauling houses in town, and hint
without any additional charge, until tho College
