Columbus, March, 2y. The cotton Market is firm with but few sales, ranging from 7 3-4 to 9 7-Bcts. Choice lots would bring 10 cents, with but little coming in. Augusta, March 24—Cotton—-Prior to the reception of %e steamer’s accounts to-day, there were sales to a limited extent at £ a Jc. decline, from the extreme prices of Tues day last. Since the accounts (received at 2£ o’clock) we have heard of no transactions. Mobile, March 26—Cotton —The Canada’s advices produced no effect upon the market. The Atlantic’s advices, however, created a dull feeling, and sales were •juite small. Middling 9a 9 1-8, Good Middling 9 3-4 cents. The receipts at all the ports as compared with those of last year show an increase of 427,132. New Orleans, Mareh 26—The sales of cotton for the three days ended Tuesday night are reported at 28,000 bales, taken for Great Britain, France, Spain, the Continent and the North. In prices no marked j change had occurred, though some of the late trails- | actions appeared to be rather more favorable to purcha- j sets.
