BY TELEGRAPH. EXPRESSLY FOR THE TIMES & SENTINEL. New-Orlean*, April 12.—There is a fair demand for Cotton in oar market to-day. Sale* reached 2,000 ba!e9. Yesterday they reached 3,000. Middling* are celling at 10c. Mobile, April 10.—Business i* light though the de mand is good. Sales to-day amounted to 1,500 bales. Prices are firm at 9 3-4 for Middlings. Middling 9 1-2, Good Middling 10, Middling Fair to Fair 10 1-4 alO I*2. Several Alabama crop-parcels sold for 9 3-4 a 10 cents. Enquiry has been good, and all offered has met with ready sale. Sales are large for the season. New Orleans, April 11.—There is a good demand and sales are good. Up to l o’clock 2000 bales sold, at full prices. Mobile, April 11, —The sales for the day amount to 1000 bales. The market is firm at former prices. New Orleans, April 9. —Cotton—The receipts at this port since Ist Sept mber, (exclusive of the arrivals from Mobile, Florida and Texas) are 1,459,015 bales, against 1,166,671 bale* to same date last year; and the increase in the receipts at all the ports, up to the latest j dates, as compared with last year, is 363,632 bales. In the exports from the United States to foreign countries, as compared with the same dates last year, there is an increase of 158,306 bales to Great Britain, and 51,856 to other foreign ports, while to France there is a de crease of 9.65 bales. Middling 9 1-2 a 9 3-4. Good Middling 10 1-4 alO 1-2. Middling Fair 10 3-4 a 12c. Bacon. —We have still to notice a firm market for Bacon, though as the receipts have been comparatively j quite light, the sales have been more limited, chiefly at j 7 1-4 cents for good ribbed Sides, 8 3-4 a 9 for clean j ditto, and 5a 5 1-2 per lb. for Shoulders, Plain and brgged Hams are selling occasionally at 8 a 9 cents, and sugar cured at 9 a 11 ots. per lb., for good to choice brands. Arrived during the past three days 1208 casks. Freights. —The rates of freight for Cotton to Eu rope remain the same as previously, and the amount of j btysiness doing but moderate, but there is a good deal of heavy freight offering for Liverpool. Wo notice j three American ships taken for that port at ss. for i Flour, 50s. for Tobacco, and 19 32d for Cotton. A j British ship has been to load with Cotton, and a bark * for heavy freight. Macon, April 12.—Cotton.-—Our Cotton Market is without any material change. We do not alter our quotations from those of last week—though important sales could not be effected without a reduction in prices. Receipts are very light. Ordinary to good Ordinary 8 a 8 1-2 ; Middling* a 9 1-2 ; Good Middling 93-4 : Middling Fair 10c: Good lots sell readily at 9 3-4 a ! 10c. Savannah, April 12.
