Mexican Mustang Liniment.
THIS invaluable preparation has been but a few months
before the people of the South, yet many thousands of
bottles have been sold and used in a great variety ok
diseases, and it has given universal satisfaction. We
h ve heard of none that were dissatisfied with it. We
otter it as a remedy in the various diseases and com
plaints for which it is recommended, with lull confidence j
in curing them, as over four millions of Bottles have been
sold and used for n great variety of complaints, both ol ;
men and animals, and it has always given satisfaction, be- i
cause it has performed just what we said it would. It hits j
healed Cancers and scrofulous sort's and ulcers that had !
resisted the treatment of the Medical Faculty.
W” A child in Fredericktou, N. 8., a few days ago
burned its legs severely against a stove. The mother im
mediately applied Linseed Oil and Cotton Wool, with a |
tight bandage over all; in a short time the screams of the j
child induced the mother to remove the bandage, when it. i
was discovered that the cotton wool had taken lire by spoil- i
taneous combustion and had considerably increased the |
size of the burn. The mother happened to think that she
had part of a bottle of Mustang Liniment in her house,
whieh she got immediately and applied to the burned
limbs of the little sufferer, and as soon as it was applied,
the child ceased its cries and soon sifter fell asleep in its I
mother’s arms, by the soothing influence of th s valuable j
preparation.
This is to certify that the Mexican Mustang Liniment j
has been used quite extensively in the stables of Adams & j
Co.’s Great Southern, Eastern and Western Express, for
curing Galls, Chafes, Scratches, Sprains and Bruits, and
it has proved very effectual. Many of their men have I
also used it uu themselves and their families, and they all I
speak of its healing and remedial qualities in the highest
terms. One ofour hostlers got kicked, and badly cut and ■
bruised on his knee—as usual, the Mustang Liniment was
resorted toAmd the soreness and lameness was soon re
moved, anent was perfectly well in three or four days.—
W e have no hesitation in recommending it as a valuable j
preparation, to be used externally ou man or beast.

Rheumatism. —This is to certify that my wife was af
flicted with severe chronic Rheumatism ; she had suffered
for months with the most excruciating pains ; she had
tried Rheumatic Compounds, Reliefs and almost every
thing recommended for this dreadful disease. None of
them relieved her pains in the least. She used a fifty cent
bottle ot Mustang Liniment, and it cured her entirely; she
s now perfectly well, and recommends all of her friends
o use the Mustang Liniment.

DR. GALE'S ANODYNE OF OPIUM.
It is a fact well knowu that many people are accustomed to
buv and use without the advice of a’ physician, many of the pre
parations of Opium, as Laudanum, Paregoric, .Bateman’s Drops,
Godfrey’s Cordial and the like.
The effect of these medicines is generally known, and while
they are admitted to possess Anodyne and sedative propertus
not’tobe dispensed with they are still liable to serieus objections
in many cases and doubtless are often mischievous in their ten
dency.
The new chemical preparation, now submitted to thepublic, is
believed to possess all their virtues, and even more, without be
ing chargeable with their bad effects —neither is this opinion
hastily founded, nor based on limited experience—after a trial
ofsome years in which this remedy has been placed in the hand?
of eminent physicians, and tried indeed under every variety of
circumstance, and in all appropriate cases of disease, it is still
believed to stand unrivalled, not only for its rare medicinal vir
tue* as a preparation of Opium, but for the safety with which it
may be administered.

HERE IS YOUR REMEDY!
HOLLO WA Y’S OINTMENT.
A MOST MIRACULOUS CURE OF BAD LEGS.
AFTER 43 YEARS’ SUFFERING.
Extract of a letter from Mr. William Galpin, of 70 St.
Mary’s street, Weymouth, dated 15 tit May, 1851.
To Professor Holloway .
Sir: At theagt of eighteen my wife (who is now* sixty one)
caught a violent cold, w hich settled in her legs, and eversincethat
time they have been more or less sore, and greatly inflamed.
Herag onies were distracting, and for months together she was
deprived entirely of rest and sleep. Every remedy that medical
men advised was tried, but without effect; her health suffered
severely, and the state of her legs was terrible. I had often read
your advertisements, and advise and her to try your Pills and Oint
ment; and, as a last resource, after every oilier remedy had prov
ed useless, she consented to do so. She commenced six weeks
ago, and strange to relate, is now in good health. Her legs are
painless, without seam or scar, and her sleep sound and undis
turbed. Could you have witnessed the sufferings of my wife
during the last forty three years, and contrast them with her pre
sent enjoyment of health, you would indeed feel delighted in
having been the means of so greatly alleviating the sufferings of
a fellow creature. (Signed) Wii. Galpin.

medical advice, w ithout deriving any benefit, and was even told
that the leg must be amputated, yet, in opposition to that opinion,
your Pills and Ointment have effected a complete cure in so short
a time, that tew who had not witnessed it would credit the’ fact.

A DREADFUL BAD BREAST CURED IN ONE

Extract of a letter from Mr. Frederick Turner, of Pen

To Professor Holloway :
Dear Sir: My wise had suffered from Bad Breasts for more than
six months, and during the whole period had the best medico

wound in my own leg by your unrivalled medicine, I determined
again to use your Pills and Ointment, and therefore gave them a
trial in her case, and iortunate it w* s I did so, for in less than a
month a perfect cure was effected, and the benefit that various
other branches of my family have derived from the r use is really
astonishing. I now strongly recommend them to all my friends.
