Foote has accepted an invitation to preaoh to the colored people at the African Methodist church in this place next Sunday evening at 8 o’olock. The pastor, Rev. TFilliains extend ed an urgent invitation, aud will be present at the service. Mr. Foote enjoys preaching to the colored people, aud rarely ever misses an opportunity to do so. He says that since he has been in Commerce, he has been favorably. impießsed with the colored people and he regards them as being re markably peaceable and law abid ing people. COnMERCE VS ATHENS.
