At The Pumpkin Patch
Kindergarten students in Myra Hill’s class at Commerce
Primary School recently visited the Pumpkin Patch at
Washington Farms in Watkinsville. They went on a hayride,
learned about how pumpkins grow, picked pumpkins, and
visited the animals at the petting farm. Left to right are (front)

Join Fight Against Drugs
Students at Maysville Elementary School participated in
activites throughout the week of October 21 to celebrate Red
Ribbon Week. Students in Janie Rimler’s first grade class
wore their pajamas Thursday to support the slogan “We
Won’t Let Drugs Destroy Our Dreams!” Elementary students
also participated in a Wacky Sock Day and a poster contest.
