Michael Gary Wins Chick-fil-A Scholarship
Chick-fil-A is awarding a $1,000
national Leadership Scholarship
to Michael Gary of Commerce.
Gary is one of eight scholarship
students at the Chick-fil-A restau
rant at Banks Crossing, which
is operated by Margaret Phillips.
Gary plans to use the scholarship
to study network operation at
Athens Technical College.
“What a tremendous accom
plishment for Michael to join
more than 22,000 Chick-fil-A
team members who have pursued
a higher education,” said Phillips.
“These team members are tak
ing the initiative to improve their
lives, which sets the example for
the other 44,000-plus restaurant
team members to follow in their
footsteps.”
