Donates $410 To School
Gary Morgan, right, of the 1-85 North Board of Realtors, pres
ents a check for $410 to David Cash, principal of Commerce
Elementary School. The money was part of the proceeds of the
group’s annual golf tournament. The group helped 20 schools
from four counties, donating $25,000.
Presents Check
Gary Morgan recently presented a check for $410 to Kim
Savage, principal at Commerce Primary School, from the I-85
Board of Realtors. The money will be used for instructional sup
plies.

Local Students Honored
At University Of Georgia
The University of Georgia has
named the local students who
were named to either the dean’s
list or named a presidential
scholar for the fall semester.
The presidential scholar desig
nation recognizes undergradu
ates who have scored a perfect
4.0 grade point average during
the semester.
Students named to the dean’s
list have earned a 3.5 G.P.A. or
higher out of a possible 4.0.

Caroline Black Honored At ABAC
Caroline K. Black, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Black of
Commerce, was named to the president’s list for the fall term at
Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, Tifton.
Students on the list have earned an A” in every subject, resulting
in a perfect 4.0 grade point average. The students carried a minimum
for 12 hours of academic course work.
