Megan Dunahoo, Seth
Brownlee Announce Plans
Emory and Elaine Dunahoo of
Gainesville announce the engage
ment and forthcoming marriage
of their daughter, Megan Eliza
beth Dunahoo, to Seth Joseph
Brownlee of Commerce, son of
Eileen Alexander of Jacksonville,
FL, and Mike Brownlee of Com
merce.
The wedding is planned for Nov.
22, 2008, at Grove Level Baptist
Church Chantry, Maysville. All
family and friends are invited to
attend.
The bride is the granddaugh
ter of Willis and Doris Mills and
Emory and Shirley Dunahoo, all
of Gainesville.
Miss Dunahoo is a 2004 gradu
ate of Johnson High School, Oak-
wood, and a 2008 graduate of
Georgia Southern University with
a degree in health and physical ed
ucation. In August, she will begin
teaching at Davis Middle School,
Flowery Branch, and will coach
volleyball at Flowery Branch High
School.
The groom is the grandson of
Annette Cook, Vancouver, WA,
and Joe and Margret Brownlee,
Commerce.
Mr. Brownlee is a 2004 gradu
ate of Banks County High School
and attended Georgia Southern
University for three years before
transferring to the University of
West Georgia. He expects to grad
uate in May 2009 with a degree in
early childhood education.
Keyonia Collins To Marry

lins of Commerce announce the
engagement and forthcoming
marriage of their daughter, Keyo
nia Chastia Collins, to Ryan Vin
cent Everett, Statesboro, son of
Melrose Gaskin of Statesboro
and Mark Brown of Las Vegas,
NV.
They will be wed in July. Invita
tions have been sent.
Miss Collins is the granddaugh
ter of Nettie Collins, Commerce,
and the late Lenton Collins; and
the late Paul and Ruth Rucker, for
merly of Commerce.
She is a 1999 graduate of Banks
County High School and a 2006
graduate of Georgia Southwest
ern University. She is employed
at Cherokee Elementary School
in Americus.
Mr. Everett is the grandson of
Marion Everett, Statesboro, and
the late Willie Everett; and Geral
dine Brown, Dayton, Ohio.
He is a 2000 graduate of States
boro High School and is pursuing
a degree in hospitality manage
ment.
Pet Parade Is Thursday At Library
The Commerce Public Library’s
annual Children’s Pet Parade will
take place Thursday afternoon at
2:00 in the shady hollow of Wil
loughby Park.
Youngsters and their parents are
invited to bring their favorite pet
(in a carry-case or on a leash, of
course) and tell what makes this
pet special.
“No pet is too unusual for the
Pet Parade,’’ says children’s librar
ian Catherine Harris. “We’ve had
a goat, a rat, and a turtle, too,’’ she
says. “So don’t be shy. All pets are
welcome.’’
Party, Bug Show Set
“Bug juice’’ and cake will be
served at the Vacation Reading
Club’s wrap-up party next Thurs
day, July 10, at the library, and the
staff of Sandy Creek Nature Cen
ter will present its Insect Show.
Reading incentive prizes can be
collected, and certificates of read
ing achievement will be available
to all who are enrolled in the Vaca
tion Reading Club.

James Bryant Jr. To Be Wed

The bride is the granddaughter
of Dottie Colston, Demorest, and
the late Chester Colston; Angela
Sellers, Carnesville; and David
and Pat Carter, Baldwin.
The groom is the grandson
of Radford and Alice Skelton,
Braselton.
