p.m. an evening of fun and fel

The week of Monday, July
28, will be local missions week.
“Lots of interesting projects are
planned," stated church leaders.
Friday, August 1, a trip to
Monroe for a free Philip, Craig
and Dean concert is planned.

p.m.

Be Held Aug. 3
Hudson River Baptist Church,
Commerce, will host a home
coming Sunday, August 3, with
service and singing starting at
10:30 a.m.
“The New Pilgrims" will provide
a special singing.
A covered dish lunch will be
served after the service.

To Be Held Aug. 2
Community Chapel Church
will host a gospel singing
Saturday, August 2, at 6 p.m.
The featured singers will be

Family" and “The Maxwells."
A covered dish and cake auc
tion will be held.
All proceeds will go to Brian
Plavcan, to help with his battle of
Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Host Benefit Fri.
Nails Creek Baptist Church,

chicken-que and singing Friday,
July 25. The benefit is being held
to help with the medical expens
es of Vietnam veteran Ron Baker,
who is battling cancer.
The chicken-que will be from
3 to 7 p.m. with tickets costing
$6 each.
The singing will start at 7 p.m.
and will feature groups “CS&K"
and “The Eisner Sisters."
