Learn About Day And Night
Both Pre-K classes at Commerce Primary School got to participate in
Pajama Day Sept. 26. Their theme for the week was Day and Night and they
ended a week of activities by wearing their pajamas and bringing in their
favorite sleep toy to class.
Tree Dedication Ceremony
East Jackson Comprehensive High School celebrated its homecoming
with the dedication of a maple tree and brick patio containing the engraved
names of the Class of 2008. Donations for the tree were handed to principal,
Dr. Pat Steuck, as the seniors received their diplomas and shook her hand
at graduation last spring. A reception was held afterwards along with a tour
of the school before the graduates formed a tunnel for the football team to
run through to the game.
