GSU Honors Program

Pre-Kindergarten
Applications Are
Available Now
The Jackson County
School System now has
applications for pre-K at all
of its elementary schools.
Children must be 4 by
Sept. 1, 2009, to attend pre-
K. Children must live in the
school attendance area to
apply for pre-K.
The deadline for applica
tions is Friday, April 17. The
district will hold a lottery
drawing and parents will be
notified through the mail if
their child was drawn for a
pre-K slot.

coach, Ron Link, has been invited
to speak at the Summer
Basketball Conference sponsored
by the Georgia Athletic Coaches
Association. His topic - “Building a
Winning Basketball Program”. The
meeting will be held at the Sea
Palm Resort on St. Simons Island
in June.
A good coach and a good
topic. Coach Link has certainly
built a winning basketball program
at ACS. He took the Eagles to the
Class A Final Four this season.
