County on September 3, 1918,
the daughter of the late George
Mason and Sudie LeCree
Cochran Kesler. She was a
member of Damascus Baptist
Church and taught Sunday
School for a number of years.
She retired from Chicopee
Manufacturing Company
with 12 years of service.
Mrs. Blalock was preceded in
death by her husband, Ralph
Blalock.

Statham for 60 years. Mrs.
Colvard was preceded in death
by her husband, Howard H.
Colvard Jr.

Warren McElrath.

brothers, Ernest McElrath,

and Carl McElrath. She was
retired from Mt. Vernon Mills
with 10 years of service and
was formerly employed with
Carwood Manufacturing.

Plumbing and A'A'.ju
Electric and was
a veteran, hav-
ing served in the
United States Air Force during
the Korean Conflict. Mr. Doss
was preceded in death by his
first wife, Virginia Watkins;
second wife, Dorris Doss;
brother, Thomas Doss; sister,
Mary Lou Mathis; and sister-
in-law, Evelyn Doss.
Survivors include sons and

Morgan Esco, 84, died Friday,
May 1, 2009, at his residence.
Born in Colbert, he was the
son of the late Hal H. and
Leight Couch Esco. He was
inducted October, 1944, in
the United States Army dur
ing World War
II. He served
in France and
Germany as a
member of the
63rd Division, 254 Reg. K co.
3 BN. After being discharged
he began purchasing timber
for resale, bought and sold
real estate as well as building
Providence Village. He attend
ed Grove Chapel Church.
Survivors include his wife,
Faye Landrum Esco; a sis
ter, Hazel Graham, Flowery
Branch; brothers, Howard
Esco and Aubrey Esco, both
of Winterville; and several
nieces and nephews.

Monday, May 4, at Lord &
Stephens Funeral Home with

officiating. Burial was at
Pentecost Chapel. Pallbearers

employed title researcher, was
a member at the Mt. Pleasant
United Methodist Church, and
a member of the Red Hat
Club.

father, Harry Vernon Stowers;
paternal grandmother, Patricia
Holmberg; niece, Courtney
Dawn Scarbrough; and cousin,
Nicholas Eli Smith.

years. Mrs. Parham was pro

band, William Claud Parham;

Christine Parham.
