Victim Says Police
Made Burglary Of
Apartment Possible
A woman arrested for
misdemeanor drugposses-

police were responsible
for the burglary of her
apartment while she was
incarcerated.
An officer filed the charge
against Angela Michell

Crossing Apartments,
Steve Reynolds Industrial
Parkway, after he alleged
ly found a small amount
of marijuana in her apart
ment when he accom

of Family and Children
Services caseworker

complaint that Franklin
was using narcotics in the
presence of minor chil
dren.
DFACS took charge of
the children, the report
said. The next day
Franklin called police to
her apartment to report a
burglary.
She told police she’d
allowed a 17-year-old white
male to sleep on her sofa
two nights because he had
no other place to go, but
she blamed police for the
burglary because she said
they left the apartment
door unlocked.
She also gave the police
the name of another
potential suspect.
The report did not indi
cate what was missing.
