'Brainfuse' Is A Resource For Homework Help
Certified Teachers Stand Ready To
Help Students With Homework
Students in area school
systems have a new
resource to help with home
work issues.
The eleven libraries of the
Piedmont Regional Library
System announce the addi
tion of an online home
work help tutoring service,
Brainfuse.
All library patrons in
Banks, Barrow and Jackson
counties have access to this
service, which utilizes certi
fied, screened teachers to
help grades 3-12 with their
homework. Anyone with a
PRLS PINES library card
can also access this from
home. The service is free.
There is also no limit to
the amount of help a stu
dent can receive. The ser
vice is available from 2-11
p.m.
The tutors do not do home
work for students; rather,
they will walk a student
through a problem until it
is understood. Tutorial help
is available, for math, lan
guage arts, science, social
studies and Spanish. Help
is also available for Spanish
speakers. Additionally, stu
dents can submit papers
and get assistance with
their writing with a 24-hour
turn-around.
To learn more about the
online service, stop by the
Commerce Public Library
go to www.prlib.org or call
770-867-2762, extension
108.
