for the Mother’s Morning
Out program at East
Jackson Comprehensive
High School.
The Mother’s Morning
Out Program is part
of a high school class
called Early Childhood
Education. Students plan,
prepare and teach lessons
on numbers, colors, let
ters and shapes as well
as activities that help the
children develop socially,
emotionally and physi
cally.
The Mother’s Morning
Out operates weekly on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays
and Thursdays from 8:15
a.m. to 1 p.m.
During the school year,
there will be two sessions.
The first session will be
Tuesday, Sept. 13, through
Thursday, Dec. 8. The
second session will be
Tuesday, Feb. 7, through
Thursday, May 11.
The cost is $ 150 per ses
sion and includes daily
snacks, lunch and all sup
plies. To enroll, children
should be 3 by Sept. 1,
2011 and must be toilet
trained.

Hannah Botts Makes Dean's
list At Georgia Southern U.
Georgia Southern
University, Statesboro, has
announced that Hannah K.
Botts, Maysville, has been
named to the dean’s list for
summer semester.
To be eligible for the dean’s
list, she had to have at least
a 3.5 grade point average
and carry a minimum of 12
hours for the semester.
