claiming to be n Special Agent of
file Federal Bureau of Investiga¬
tion should insist upon the pre¬
sentation of the official crodential
card of the FBI, There have been
a number of instances wherein per¬
sons have misrepresented them¬
selves as Special Agents of the
Federal Bureau of Investigation
and thareby have secured informa¬
tion, privileges, and prestige
which would not [ordinarily be ac¬
corded them by citizens and busi¬
ness concerns.
The.offieial credential card of
the Federal Bureau of Investiga¬
tion contains the photograph and
signature of the Special Agent,
properly authenticated by the sig¬
natures of the Attorney General of
the Ignited States and the Director
of,the Federal Bureau of Investi¬
gation, The card also contains an
imprint of the seal of j the United
States Department of Justice and
so designated as to make alteration
or forgery practically impossible,
