To My Sister - from Heaven
I just wanted you to know,
That I’ll be with you wherever you go.
I’ve gotten my wings and learned how to fly,
And I’ll dry your tears whenever you cry.
Though I’ve went away and it seems we’re apart,
You will forever be my soul and my heart.
The love that we shared will not go astray,
For deep in my heart it will always stay.
You held me close when I was filled with pain.
And your smile gave me sunshine when my life filled with rain.
You guided me when no one else could.
You protected me when no one else would.
We’ve shared so much that mere words can’t express.
How knowing you has made me feel truly blessed.
So please, dear sister, fret not for me, for now my soul is truly
free.
So, think of me often, as much as you can.
And I’ll always be there to hold your hand.
I’ll be your angel and guide you through life.
I’ll give you comfort through torment and strife.
So thanks, dear sister, again and again,
Thank you always for being my sister and my friend.
We love and still miss you, though it’s been nine years!
Mama, Daddy, Kim and family

Integrity
The word “integrity” comes from the Latin word “integritas,” meaning soundness or whole
ness, and this is the same word from which we get the word “integer.” A person of integ
rity, like an integer, is complete and whole. The American Heritage Dictionary defines
integrity as: “n. 1. Steadfast adherence to a strict ethical code. 2. The state of being
unimpaired; soundness. 3. The quality or condition of being whole or undivided; com
pleteness.” The first definition, steadfast ad-herence to a strict ethical code, is what
we usually think of when we think of a person with integrity. That is, we think of
someone who will not compromise their principles for some temporary gain or
advantage. And although this definition seems to suggest that a person of integrity
might be overly rigid in adhering to their ethical code, the third definition, the quality or
^ condition of being whole or undivided, more aptly suggests that the person of integrity
is someone who is of one mind and has an undivided spirit. You cannot be a person of
integrity and serve both God and mammon. The calmness and composure that is the
hallmark of the person of integrity comes naturally from having an undivided spirit and
^ being wholly dedicated to right conduct.Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one;
* and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with
all your mind, and with all your strength. R.S.V. Mark 12:29-30
