JCFEC mentoring
program is successful
“There is no greater gift one can give than the gift of time,”
is a sentiment of the Jenkins County Family Enrichment
Center’s (JCFEC) mentoring program.
Julie Chance, JCFEC executive director, expressed ap
preciation to all of the individuals who volunteer as men
tors in the program and challenged others in the community
to participate.
“As mentors, they have made the choice to make a differ
ence in the lives of others. They might be the reason a young
person chooses to succeed,” Mrs. Chance said.
“We just want to say a special ‘thank you’ to all of the
volunteers in the program,” she added.
For more information on the mentoring program, or to
volunteer, call (478) 982-8004.
