south of Augusta Georgia.
This position will primarily be responsible for inspecting old and new businesses in the
City of Waynesboro to insure that they are up to the Building Codes for the City of
Waynesboro. The Building Official would work closely with the City Administrator, the
Downtown Development Director, the Community Director, the Fire Chief and with the
State Fire Code Inspector. The Building Official would work with and track & mitigate
dilapidated structures and other code enforcement issues.
Qualified Applicants should have building construction experience and a bachelor's
