Bids must be filed on Form C
(Section C “Proposal Form”), three (3)
copies of which will be forwarded to all
Contractors on or about ten (10) days
prior to bid date. Proposal Forms must
be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an
amount not less than five (5%) percent
of the Base Bid. Both Performance and
Payment Bond will be required in an
amount equal to one hundred (100%)
percent of the contract price.
Contract, if awarded, will be estab
lished on a lump sum basis. No bid may
be withdrawn for a period of thirty-five
(35) days following the bid date. The
Owner reserves the right to reject any
and all bids and to waive all technical
ities and informalities.
Complete bidding documents may
be obtained at the office of the Archi
tect, MARTIN, RULE AND ASSO
CIATES, ARCHITECTS, LLC, 12A
EAST GRADY STREET, STATESBO
RO, GEORGIA 30458. Request for doc
uments together with a deposit check of
— $100.00 — per set should be filed
promptly with the Architect. Bidding ma
terials will be forwarded as rapidly as
possible.
All deposits will be refunded, LESS
$50.00 PER SET, provided the docu
ments are returned in good condition
within TEN (10) DAYS following the bid
date and a Bid is received.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will
be held on June 2, 2009, 2:00 PM at
the Project location, Jenkins County
