It is choice and chaste in prose and poetry— sketched with “brie a-brac.” wit and humorous poems. To-morrow is the 4th. It is a day set apart to express your feel ing toward friend and foe. Mr. Hill is the father, grandfather and great-grandfather, of a large con nection in this and ether counties, who esteem and honor his silvery locks ot ripened years. Though ver ging on the line of four score, the old gentleman still has come of tho energy, and southern steel of his younger days.
