ty, a young man by the name of
Jim, Hart, whilo hunting, stepped
at a neighbor’s house. He laid his
gun up against the gate. The gat©

striking the gun, which tired and
killed the young man instantly—

tery in two, from which he bled to

Brown, esq , was elected chairman of
the meeting.

Stapler was elected secretary.

wards, esq., to state the oijcct ot the
meeting, Mr. Euw.vids stated the ob
jeoi to be, to rend delegates to repre
sent Banks county in tha Read Con
