Announcement and Invitation.
The Trustees of Castleberry Institute, of Murrayville,
Hall County, Ga., are pleased to announce to the public that
the handsome and commodious school building, with accom
modations for 300 students, will be completed in time for
the opening of the Fall Term in September.
This building now under rapid construction is modern in
every respect. The Faculty, with Rev. John L. Franklin as
Principal, will be the best to be secured. The course of
study will be complete, in keeping with other High Schools
of the State. The location is ideal. The citizenship of the
community is of a high order.
On Friday, May 21st, A Grand Rally.
Will be held at Murrayville and all those interested in ed
ucation and in this school in particular are cordially invited
to be present.
Addresses will be made by Rev. B. F. Fraser of Augusta,
Ga., and other prominent speaKers, insuring a day not only
of enjoyment but of intellectual benefit as well. A band
will be engaged to furnish music and a great time is expect
ed.
The people of Murrayville are very desirous of having new
residents come in and avail themselves of the school advan
tages. To encourage such citizens they have entered into
an agreement to sell off desirable building lots and small
farms at reasonable prices. They have adopted this plan to
build up the community and give an opportunity to home
seekers to select suitable locations before the advance in
property. On the above named date, Friday, May 21, there
will be
A Sale of a Number of Beautiful Home Sites,
Which will be a great opportunity for those who want to lo
cate in one of the best sections and communities in the state
of Georgia.
The propertv that will be sold consists of two tracts Mur
ray Heights just south of the school and Elland Heights just
to the North, no lot being more than 1-4 mile from the school
building. This property has been priced by the owners at
less than half its actual value and every dollar above the cost
and expenses of the sale will be given to the school. No
private individual will profit in anyway and as the lots are
all convenient and fronting on public roads, a good sum for
the school will doubtless be made.
Situated on a highland of 7,500 feet elevation over-looking
all the country, this is one of the prettiest places for a town
in North Georgia. It is confidently expected that this al
ready thickly settled community will develop rapidly into a
town of good proportions. This will cause prompt advances
in property generally, hence it would be well for prospective
residents to purchase lots on this occcasion,
With the most healthful climate,/fine farming lands, water
power available for manufacturing purposes, electric power
of Chestatee river not far distant, good roads and main
thoroughfare between Gainesville and Dahlonega and coun
ties north, liberal and broad-minded citizenship as neighbors,
no better place could be found for a home. The establish
ment of Castleberry Institute adds furthermore to the
all-round desirability of the section and guarantees the fu
ture of every investment as well as the certainty of good so
ciety.
Come to the Rally and Enjoy the Day.
Come also prepared to buy a lot and be a citizen of this
excellent community. If you are not already interested
enough to consider moving, you will decide to cast your lot
with the good people of Murrayville before the day is over.
Any further information relative to the sale will be cheer
fully furnished by Walter E. Hosch, Gainesville, Ga., or I.
T. Franklin, Murrayville, Ga.
Remember the date, Friday, May 21st, and that The
School Gets The Bbnefit of the sale of lots, which will
be on easv terms.

OBITUARY.
I On Wednesday, January 27, 1909, death
kneeled at the door of Mr. and Mrs, E,
A, Durham of Bethlehem settlement,
route 7, and summoned the soul of their
dear little son, Luther* to the supreme
home above. Luthet just six days before
this was visited by that much dreaded
disease pneumonia fever, and after a bat
tle for life Luther did succomb, after all
the raedical skill of one of Forsyth’s [yes
Georgia’s] most honest and ever dutiful
physicians, and a father’s touch and a
mother’s prayer, a sister’s love and a
brother’s love. Little Luther’s soul was
wafted to that beautiful home so sweet
to dwell there until father, mother, sis
ter, brother, schoolmates, teacher, phy
sician and friends shall all come, then all
joyous forever, basking in God’s eternal
love until time shall be no more. Then
it is that there will be no more trouble,
pain, sorrow, death, leaving of family
home, friends, relatives, but one home,
sweet home, forevermore.
Luther was a gbod little son, a loving
little brother, a true little school mate, a
kind little pupil. We are not surprised
that father and mother hated so much to
give him up, and that Mae did so much
deplore her loss, that brothers so much
miss him.
Well do we rememember his sweet
face for the past three years, how kind,
how gentle, how dutiful at all times.
How much we deplore his death, yet how
glad we are that he is resting so sweetly
today in the arms of mother and Jesus at
home.
And now to father, mother, Mae and
brother, remember, “just a little sun
shine brightens up the way, just a little
kind word, speak it every day, making
others happy as you march along, sing a
little sunshine song.”
Remember that today Luther is trav
eling where no tears bedim the eyes,
where there will be no thought of sorrow
and there’ll be no more good byes.
