William Ward, who lives just
across the line in Cherokee county,
Ala., lost his crib, containing about
100 bushels of corn, by fire last
Wedlesday night. It is thought
to be the work of an incendiary.
Will Steward, colored, was badly
cut n the face by another colored
mai at a dance at Hal McWilliatn’s
one night last week. The wound
was dressed by Dr. Jas. W. Bry
ant and the colored brother will
soon be alright.
