Mrs. Leonard Smith is suffer
ing from injuries received in a
fall at the barn last week.
Mrs. Avis Watkins visited her
mother, Mrs. Leonard Smith,
Friday.
Sonya Grasham has pink eyes.

man were dinner guests of Mr.
and Mrs. T. Tate and Ruth Sun
day.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Morris and
family spent Sunday with his
sister, Mr. and Mrs. T. Tate and
Ruth.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tate made a
business trip to LaFayette Sat
urday.

son on Dry Creek Thursday
night.
Mrs. Con Kinsey is ill.
John Fowler returned to his
home from Erlanger hospital
Tuesday, where he had been a
patient for the past two weeks
and is much better.
The working was well attended
for Mr. and Mrs. Fowler and
their eleven children. There was
13 tractors and several teams
working all day Friday. He will
not be able to do arty work for
several days yet.
Eugene Smith is recovering
from severe burns received when
his clothing caught on fire in the
field some time ago.
Mrs. Frank Manning, of Vil
lanow, and Mrs. Maggie Smith
visited Mr. and Mrs. James Smith
and Jimmy Saturday.
Leonard Smith visited his
cousin, Mr. and Mrs. John Owens,
of Summerville, Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Clark and
Mr and Mrs. Charlie Williams
and Syble. of Ringgold, attended
services at Bethlehem Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pettyjohn,
of Chattanooga, and Mr. and

Alexander is staying on for a
few days.
W. E. Mathis has been sick for
several days, but is slowly im
proving.
