Grew, 11. T. Phillips, Thos. A. Berry,
Sam E. Berry, S. B. Felker, It. I. Peak
and P. B. Trammell, shows that peti
tioners desire to be made a body po
litic ami corporate under the name of
the “ Dalton Guano And Manufacturing
Co,” The purpose of the said corpora
tion is for inanulaeluringaiid selling fer
tilizers, and of such acid 5 as are used
in the said manufacture, the making of
lathes, excelsior and any other articles
I made of wood, the ginning of cotton and
the sale of same, and to do any other
ads in harmony with the forej oing
purposes, and not inconsistent with the
laws of the state, and shall have the
power to buy, hold and convey real es
tate, and to do a general trading busi
ness on such articles as they may man
ufacture or may obtain by purchase or
in exchange for their own products.
The capital stock of said corporation
shall be $20,000, five thousand of which
has been paid in. w ith the right to in
crease said stock in their discretion to
anv sum not exceeding SIOO,OOO.
Wherefore, they tile this their peti
tion in this cmut am) pray that publi
cation may be had and such other steps
in law be taken to further the end in
view, and they be incorporated under
the name aforesaid for the period of
twenty years with the piivilege of re

Ferry shows. Ist. That petitioners, their asso
ciates and successors desire to become incorpor
ated and trade a body politic under the laws of
the state of Georain, lor the term of twenty
years with the privilege of renewal at the ex
piration es said time under the corporate name
of THE A. .1. SHOWALTER CO.
2d. That the said company is incorporated for
the purpose of carrying on a general music pub
lishing business, dealing in music, stationery and
other kindred articles, editing and publishing a
musical journal, and ultimately to have in con
nection therewith a general printing and pub
lishing business for job work, lithographing, etc.

Bridge Letting,
GEORGIA. Whitfield County.
Bills are invited for the construct ion
of a bridge over the Conasauga river at
a point, on said river known as Zant’s
Ford, the same In ing on the line of Mur
ray and Whitfield counties.
The contract will be let at public out
cry on the 27th day of June, 1890,
to the lowest bidder at the sight pro
posed for the bridge.
Rids will be taken sep
arately, for a wrought iron highway
bridge, and for a wooden lattice high
way bridge weatherboarded and cover
ed; each to be of one single span ol 105
feet between centers of bearing points.
Height of iron bridge superstructure,
seventeen feet between centres, and
twelve feet roadway. Height of wooden
latice superstructure, twelve feet be
tween centres of chords, width twelve
feet, between posts. All lumber and
shingles used in either bridge to be
strictly first class.
Substructure for iron bridge to be hoi
low cylinders of best boiler iron or steel
plate, three feet in diameter and one
quarter inch thick, filled w ith hydraulic
cement concrete, thirty-three teet above
low water in river. For the wood bridge
substructure to be the same as tor iron
bridge excepting t hat the piers are to be
four feet in diameter.
Bridge to be completed by the loth
day of November, 1890, payment for
the same, in cash, on or before January
