EIGHTEEN YEARS IN THE
PRACTICE OF MEDICINE
and a close study of a number of cancers has proven to me beyond a
doubt that cancer is as easily cured as any other disease if taken in
time ; hence the most important thing is to come earlv and then you
are sure of a permanent cure. I never treat a cancer in the early stage
but what the cure is perfect.
Come While the Cancer is Small.]
Our best medical writers ever since the disease has been known Imve
asserted that there is no cure for Cancer, either by the use of the knife or medicine.
Most physicians believe what they have read, and will not investigate it; hence
they know tint little about it. ’lhey will tell you it is not career; let it alone,
then when you are nearly dead, they will say it has turned to cancer and cannot
be cured. Trust no physician when he speaks lightly of lumps and tnmora; lie
is not expected to and cannot know much about them for want of experience. All
hard tumors or lumps are likely to be cancers. They may appear on ahnuataiiy
part of the body and at. any period of life, especially from youth to extreme old
age; and as they result from injury as a rule, they are; perfectly local at the com
mencement and are easy to cure if treated while in their local state, but whenit
becomes scattered and is constitution 1 it is a terrible foe to contend with.
A lump in any breast without milk is cancer; it may grow slowly or fast
and nearly always gets larger, then less, several times, making you think that it is
going away, but always returns a little larger than before.
All those sores, lumps or unnatural appearances in the form of crusts or
warty excresences on the lip, nose, eyelid, face, or any other portion of thesurta
are genera Ily cancers and’should be treated and cured immediately.
You should not wait for further proof; life is too valuable to he tampered
with or sacrificed. Most persons are greatly deceived as to the first symptomsol
cancer, supposing it to he very painful from the start, 'this is a sad mistake,
Cairying millions to an untimely grave. There is no pain until they are far
advanced, often no itching or anything to indie de that they are cancer, except the
lump. Do not consult anyone else ; come at once and \ou will never regret it.
borne think it advisable to consult many physicians and friends as to best method
and whether it is cancer, the more they consult the more they are confused an!
some give up and die without an effort to be cured. Hundreds seek relief too*)
late and when asked why they did not come sooner they say their physician saidl
it was tumor, scrofula, milk cake, or some other non-terrifying disease, and it had
not hurt them till lately and noneof their relativeshad ever had cancer and they
thought it could not be cancer. It is awful to have to pronounce the death
sentence on suffering humanity time sadly deceived. No person ever died 0‘
external cancer, but that could have been easily cured by proper and timely
treatment.
Do not trust your life to the always disappointing faith cure or traveling
quacks or old women or others having no knowledge of medicine or the many
forms of cancer. You should employ a thoroughly educated physician and one
that follows the business, as the more a man does of one thing the better he can
do it. lam the only physician in this country that I know of that makes cancer
and chronic diseases a specialty.
If you have a small lump in your breast or elsewhere doctors will say b® |
not alarmed, it is not cancer, it will give vou no trouble. Heed no such aiivne,
when you are nearly dead they will say it has turned to cancer and will have to
cut. I hat will be poor comfort in a dying hour. Never have the knileused, '
generally hastens the fatal hour. Don’t try to cure yourself, as the attempt
surely prove a failure. Don’t be treated at or near home simplv to save expenses,
as Ihe attempt as a rule will generally cost you your life. After removing 1
cancer I give a constitutional treatment to remove it from the system. Iheon y
reason I have for making the subject and treatment, of cancers ami canceroii®
diseases a special study is that for a number of years I have witness d the siifl-u™
and death of quite a number of its victims that I fully believe might have been
cured if they had received the proper treatment, at the proper time. I know it ie»
disease that physicians as a rule dislike to undertake, and consequently counties!
numbers of our race are swept away annually by its ravages. I regard it ns ,
in()8l horrible disease, whose destructive power knows no bounds. 'l’he peasan
Ins humble hut and the autocrat on his gilded throne are alike its victims.
Now in conclusion, I wish to say that only two motives influence me
undertake to combat this formidable enemy to mankind. The first, is huniau
sympathy. Second, a reasonable compensation for my professional services.
I Treat All Manner of Chronic
Diseases, Including Dropsy.
